It is a pagoda-style Buddhist monument to peace, offering stunning mountain & lake scenes including the complete view of Pokhara valley.

It is on the great hight from the Pokhara valley, where vehicle facilities are also available these days. Up to a few years ago, people use to go there by foot from the traditional track from the middle of the jungle.

Begnas Lake is a freshwater lake in Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolis of Kaski district of Nepal located in the south-east of the Pokhara Valley. The lake is the third largest lake of Nepal and second largest, after Phewa lake, among the eight lakes in Pokhara Valley.

People from different districts come to visit, boating over this lake, it lies in front of the beautiful village in the Lekhnath, Kaski. The public vehicle service is available to go to the spot. Even people celebrate picnic at the corner of the lake in the winter season.
